New beginnings
As one of our trusted Osteopaths, she initially joined on a part-time basis, and we’re delighted that she has recently moved to a full-time role in our practices in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
“I joined the team for Atlas in September 2022 working between Amber Health and Ampthill and Flitwick Physio Centre,” said Hermione. “I was suggested for the job by a friend, and thought it was a good time in my career for some stability from an employed role and an overall change.
“I joined on a part-time basis and during the recruitment process, everything regarding the role was explained to me. I was aware before I joined that building my list in Ampthill and Flitwick would take time as it had been a purely physio clinic.
“But I was prepared for the challenge.”
A wealth of opportunity
Atlas Health is proud to offer its practice teams the opportunity to access further training and education, and career opportunities within the group that would not be available in a smaller practice.
Hermione added: “Over the past four months, I have been pleasantly surprised at the growth, not only of my patient list, which has exceeded everyone’s expectations, but also in my practice.
“Coming from a full-time self-employed work schedule, split between multiple clinics, I have come to realise how much brain power is required to sustain a list, complete admin, promote oneself, keep a work life balance and much more.
“Now being employed I’m able to focus much more on the treatment, and each patient. Although a subtle shift in responsibility, it has provided me with a scope to think, see, and feel much more than I felt I had been…reigniting the spark to learn more.
“Working for Atlas so far has been very positive. I am well supported in both clinics and I’m enjoying working as more of a team with my colleagues.
“I have been given time to ask any questions, discuss cases, explore different techniques, and develop more directed learning.”
Helping more people feel better
And the good news keeps coming. Hermione has expanded her hours and is delighted to be able to help more people.
“I am happy to have been offered a full-time role, and with the help of the marketing team, I’m very much looking forward to supporting the local communities in both locations,” she said.
